Aldrei fór ég suður - Direct translation: "I never went South", has been happening in Ísafjörður every Easter since 2004. It started as just a one-night thing, but it's been getting bigger and better ever since.

It goes hand in hand with Skíðavikan (Skiweek). It's a music experience like no other – Icelandic bands play for free, so there's no entry fee for this one-of-a-kind event.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of this epic music bash. And guess what? Today they dropped the lineup for the festival. It's a killer mix of local talent from the Westfjords and big-name Icelandic stars.
