Holt Inn is a family run hotel in the heart of Westfjords, only a 15 minute drive from Isafjordur. The hotel used to be a school but now it has 11 newly renovated rooms with private bathroom. Each room has a view over the beautiful mountains of Önundarfjordur. Breakfast is served in the old gym room on the ground floor. The old class room serves as a sitting area today where you can relax, watch television or read books. The hotel offers free WiFi and is non smoking.

Gemlufall   There are two apartments in the house and can be rented separately or the whole house.  Apartment 1- 6 persons  Apartment 2 - 6 persons + a sofabed for 2  All beds are made and a towel is for each guest. Breakfast is not included but can be bought if ordered with a day in advance (8:00-9:30), likewise picnic packs and other light meals.

At Mánagata 5 we have 8 twin-bedded rooms and 1 triple rooms on two floors, all with a hand basin, bathrobes and TV. Shared bathrooms are on each floor. Comfortable sitting lounge and a reading corner with interntet connection. Good breakfast is served in the breakfast room on the ground floor. At Mánagata 1 we have sleeping bag accommodation for up to 21 person. Two shared bathrooms as well as cooking facilities. Spacious living area with a kitchen and television. Amid the mountains of the wild West Fjords region, Einarshúsið Guesthouse is in Bolungarvík, a small fishing village.  The building is from the turn of the 20th Century.  We offer eight rooms, from a spacious suite to lovely rooms for two to three persons. The rooms have either view to the impressive mountains or seaside view over the Ísafjarðardjúp inlet. Each room has a sink but other bathroom facilities are shared. Six of the rooms are on second floor and two on the lower ground floor. The suite has a seating area and a balcony. WiFi is free of charge and free parking is available on site. Breakfast is optional for extra charge. Our restaurant is open daily during the summer but only irregularly during the wintertime. The restaurant is famous for its Pizzas and simple, yet delicious, traditional Icelandic dishes. On weekdays we have a lunch-buffet and in the evenings and weekends a dish of the day option. In the lounge area you can relax and enjoy drinks. The guesthouse features an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy food and drink on the long Icelandic summer days. Bolungarvík is a good base for trips around north of West Fjords.  A 2-minute walk from the guesthouse you will find an indoor swimming pool with outdoor hot tubs and waterslide.  The village is about 15-minute drive from Ísafjörður, the largest town on the West Fjords peninsula with more varied services. 

The Harbour Inn guesthouse is a family owned and operated guesthouse, located in the heart of the village Bíldudalur. We offer accomodation in sgl. & dbl. rooms, with or without private facilities. Additionally we have two studio apartments, one that accomodates 1-2 people, and the other 5-7 people, perfect for groups or large families.  The Harbour Inn guesthouse is a part of the Hey Iceland association, a network of over 170 local businesses in rural communities all around Iceland. For your dinner, restaurant Vegamót is right next door, and the Sea Monster museum (a must see) is just a little further down the street. BERGISTANGI GUESTHOUSE The accommodation consists of two houses. Firstly, there are two spacious rooms on the ground floor of the owners' apartment building, each with three beds. There is a shared entrance on the second floor for these two rooms, with a small kitchenette and a bathroom. Secondly, there is accommodation in a former freezer house, which was built in connection with the slaughterhouse on the site and was used as such for thirty years. Times change, and in 1992, there was no longer a need for a freezer house. A few years ago, the owners of the house decided to convert it into a guesthouse. The house has three rooms used for accommodation. The rooms have bunk beds, with eight bunks in the largest room and six in each of the other two rooms, for a total of twenty beds. The bunk beds are of good quality, and there are ensuite bathrooms in the rooms. There is also a shared kitchenette in the house, equipped with excellent cooking facilities. The guesthouse has been popular among groups and individual travelers alike.

Guesthouse Malarhorn is located in the fishing village Drangsnes in Steingrímsfjörður, only 30 minutes drive from Hólmavík. Malarhorn offers various accommodation, double rooms with private bathrooms, small apartments and sleeping bag accommodation all with full breakfast. Geothermal swimming pool and a local food restaurant is next to the house. Malarhorn Travel also offers three hours long bird watching tours to the Puffin Paradise Grímsey in Steingrímsfjörður. Sea-angling tours are also possible.

Urðartindur is a family run guesthouse and camping site in Norðurfjörður, in the Icelandic Westfjords. Occupying a stunning position amid fertile farmland at the head of the fjord of the same name, the views are dominated by the mountain Kálfatindar (646m) to the east. The Urdartindur camping site is located at Nordurfjordur. It has a spectacular view over the fjord and surrounding mountain ridges. Not far from the site you’ll find a sandy beach where you can listen to the sea while the kids play in the sand. Accommodation in three rooms with a shared bathroom (2 wc 1 shower) in an old house built in 1912 as a priest's lodge. Surrounded by beautiful nature, ideal for hikes around the area. In the same house you will find a café during the summertime, open between 12:30-17:00 o´clock. We also produce and sell food from our own sheep farm.  The Environment Agency of Iceland’s exhibition on the nature reserve Surtarbrandsgil (e. Lignite canyon) is on the bottom floor and is open daily from 10. June until 10. August. Exhibition on the fossils and lignite in Surtarbrandsgil, along with information about the settler Hrafna Flóki, who named our country Iceland.    In relation to the exhibitions opening hours, hikes to the canyon led by a land ranger are available during these times:Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 13:00. Hotel Heydalur is located in the beautiful valley of Heydalur, around 320 km from Reykjavík and 130 km from Ísafjörður. The hotel offers 59 beds in 19 rooms (all with private WC) as well as three summer cottages. The hotel restaurant is renowned for its delicious, local food which is served in the old barn. The hotel also operates a campsite (open from June 1 until the end of October) with warm showers, flushing toilets and ample electricity plugs for RVs and trailers. Heydalur has recently been nominated as the best bathing site in the Westfjords area.  Near the hotel you will find two outdoor, geothermal hot tubs, as well as a small pool inside a tropical greenhouse. On the other side of the river Heydalsá you will find yet another natural hot tub. The opportunities for recreation and activities are almost endless. The hotel has a playground for children and youth, but also offers guided kayaking and horse riding tours that are suitable for most people. There are numerous hiking routes available, birdwatching is excellent during summer and freshwater fishing is also possible. During winter, visitors can enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and, of course, the magic of the northern lights.  

Bed and brekfast in the center of Isafjordur. We have rooms for 2-7 persons. Both to share or for private visitors. The price offered is without breakfast and sheets. Sheets can be hired for 3.100 ISK per booking and breakfast costs 2.000 ISK Check in is at Managata 5. Gamla guesthouse untill 8 pm and after that at Hotel Isafjordur, Silfurtorg 2. Breakfast is served at Managata 5. Managata 1 has five rooms on one floor. You will have access to your room, toilette and kitchen.
