Galdur is the newest brewery in a diverse array of beer producers in Iceland. Located in Hólmavík, Galdur stands out in many ways, being community-owned. Galdur is a collaboration between entrepreneurs, local residents and companies in Hólmavík. In addition, the production is considered to be surrounded by powerful witchcraft, as Strandir is known for stories of wizards. Our beer contains only the cleanest ingredients that nature has to offer. In addition, the mineral-rich water of Strandir gives our beers a unique and distinctive flavor.

Dokkan is the Westfjords first and only brewery, that brews high class craft beer.  Our micro brewery is a small family business founded in Isafjorður in Octorber 2017 merely for the purpose to make local craft beer and the Westfjords really needed one. Then our first beer was made in the early summer of 2018. The brewery is located at Sindragata 11 and that’s were all of our products are made. The brewery welcomes guests at its location in Sindragata.  In the summertime the opening hours are from 3pm to 11pm.
