Bed and brekfast in the center of Isafjordur. We have rooms for 2-7 persons. Both to share or for private visitors. The price offered is without breakfast and sheets. Sheets can be hired for 3.100 ISK per booking and breakfast costs 2.000 ISK Check in is at Managata 5. Gamla guesthouse untill 8 pm and after that at Hotel Isafjordur, Silfurtorg 2. Breakfast is served at Managata 5. Managata 1 has five rooms on one floor. You will have access to your room, toilette and kitchen.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the West Fjords, Korpudalur is a former farmhouse that has been in the family for generations. Protected from the weather by the snow-capped mountains that surround it, the hostel and campsite provides the ulimate way to get away from it all. The basin is also a great enviroment for wildlife to thrive, with lush green wetland home to many species of waterfowl as well as eagles. Curl up with a book in the lounge or take on one of the many hikes in the area- the choice is yours. The former barnhouse is also available for hire and provides a great venue for parties, weddings and cinema nights. In the area: There are many hiking routes, with maps available at the hostel as well as on the app WAPP. Korpudalur is a good base for many towns in the area including Ísafjörður, Súðavík and Flateyri. Ísafjörður is the largest settlement in the West Fjords and features many museums and Súðavík hosts the Arctic Fox Centre. The nearest fjord- Önundarfjordur- has a white sand beach, a rarity in Iceland. Dynjandi waterfall is also a 35 minute drive away- the largest waterfall in the West Fjords, the name means ´thundering´.  At HI Iceland, we strive to meet and exceed the standards expected of us as a leader in sustainable travel. At Mánagata 5 we have 8 twin-bedded rooms and 1 triple rooms on two floors, all with a hand basin, bathrobes and TV. Shared bathrooms are on each floor. Comfortable sitting lounge and a reading corner with interntet connection. Good breakfast is served in the breakfast room on the ground floor. At Mánagata 1 we have sleeping bag accommodation for up to 21 person. Two shared bathrooms as well as cooking facilities. Spacious living area with a kitchen and television. Breakfast is available at Mánagata 5.

Urðartindur is a family run guesthouse and camping site in Norðurfjörður, in the Icelandic Westfjords. Occupying a stunning position amid fertile farmland at the head of the fjord of the same name, the views are dominated by the mountain Kálfatindar (646m) to the east. The Urdartindur camping site is located at Nordurfjordur. It has a spectacular view over the fjord and surrounding mountain ridges. Not far from the site you’ll find a sandy beach where you can listen to the sea while the kids play in the sand.
