Litlabyli Adventures is a tour operator in Flateyri, run along with its sister Litlabyli Guesthouse, in an old beautiful house in Flateyri. We have space for up to 10 guests in a comfortable home with beautiful views of the mountains and fjord. Each room has accommodation for 2 people, in double or twin beds. This summer, 2020, the house will be rented out as one unit. Amenities include free wifi throughout the house and free parking. Four rooms are with shared bathroom and shower facilities and one double with privet facilities; fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast is available on request. The house is a short walk from the convenience store, swimming pool, restaurant, and local hiking routes. Please contact for prices and booking information.

Something special - Nature and Cultural Walks with a view of Ísafjörður Ísafjörður Walk - An Interesting Journey Through Time Our guide is located at the Tourist Information Centre, dressed as a woman from the 19th century, and takes you on a walk through the city and up to the slopes above Ísafjörður. On the way you will visit interesting places, such as historical houses and trade centres from the prime time of Ísafjörður. You will get information on history and learn about the people and their living conditions, their beliefs and their culture, which is reflected in the legends. You might experience a slight shudder when told of ghosts and be fascinated about our mystical creatures like elves and trolls. You will also visit the places the stories are told about. On the way she shares her lunch box with you. It is possible to extend the walk by one hour on the following walks or book them separately: Geology or Plants Other Walks: Culinary Explorations (2hours) A walk full of culinary surprises! Our guide is dressed as a woman from the 19th century, and takes you on a walk through the city. We then invite you to taste yourself through the history and culture of Iceland and Westfjords. Local people serve you a big variety of traditional and modern foods. Along the way the participants meet locals and are invited into an Icelandic home.
