Would you like to connect more deeply with your inner nature child? At the Nature Child Festival in the Strandir region, July 10–12, you'll have the opportunity to discover and nurture the nature child within you through a fun-filled program packed with learning, activities, and entertainment for all ages.
The Nature Child Festival will be held at the Sheep Farming Museum (Sauðfjársetrið) in Sævangur, home to the Nature Child School.
The Nature Child Festival is a family-friendly event, and admission is free. 🌱
Festival guests are also welcome to camp free of charge at Kirkjuból, just a short distance from Sævangur. Please note that this is not a designated campground, and there is no electricity available. If you prefer a full-service campsite, there is an excellent campground in Hólmavík with electrical hookups, as well as a variety of nearby accommodation options.
Food and refreshments will be available all weekend at Kaffi Kind, the café at Sauðfjársetrið (the Sheep Farming Museum). A wide selection of dishes will be offered, including plenty of options for vegetarians as well as other tastes.
