"Lífið er Lotterí" (Life is a Lottery) is a program dedicated to the lyricists and playwright Jónas Árnason. The show has been incredibly well-received and has been performed numerous times at the Comedy Theater with enthusiastic crowds singing along.
One could say about Jónas, in his own words from one of his popular song lyrics, that he ruled as a king, both on stage and in mass gatherings for decades, and still does. When Icelanders come together, more often than not, something from Jónas Árnason's workshop is sung.
This will be a singing-here and singing-there enjoyable evening where three performers will deliver Jónas's pearls on stage, and everyone will sing along.
Show dates: Wednesday, July 10th, Friday, July 12th, Friday, July 26th, and Saturday, July 27th. The house opens at 19:30, and the event begins at 20:00.
