Galdrafár á Ströndum, Icelandic Sorcery Festival is an ambitious cultural and art festival with artists and scholars participating from many countries. The main theme is sorcery and Old Norse culture. The aim is to bring together artists from all over Europe and get visitors to participate and learn about the subjects with a Viking village, workshops, lectures, visit the Sorcery Museum to learn about the Icelandic history of magic, listen to mesmerising music and learn about the various Old Norse customs that took part in creating the otherworldly atmosphere that makes Iceland so magical and shrouded in mystery.
