Some say only boring people get bored, we are not going to pass judgement on that but we will tell you that you shouldn't be bored during a visit to the Westfjords. There are endless options of tours, hikes and boat trips for you to enjoy. Do you enjoy sitting at a café enjoying the scenery or are you an adventure buff up for anything, we have something for both.
Kayak Tours / Paddleboarding
Kayaking is an exhilarating experience, the Westfjords have sheltered fjords and are for that reason excellent for sea kayaking.
Angling
Iceland has an abundance of lakes and rivers teeming with salmon and trout and attract many anglers. The opportunities for participating are limitless.
Bird Watching
There are many places in the Westfjords of Iceland that are ideal for bird watching. Látrarbjarg cliff is the largest bird cliff in Europe and gives you fantastic views over the puffins. But there are also other places such as Vigur island, Grímsey island and Reykhólar that are amazing spots for bird enthusiast.

Golf enthusiasts have many options in choosing among excellent golf courses throughout the Westfjords.
Geothermal baths
Few things are more cozy than relaxing in a hot pool in the middle of nature. The Westfjords has an abundance of easily accessible natural pools for you to enjoy.
